Dawsons Department Store is a family owned business located in the centre of the market town of Clitheroe in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire. Originally opened as an ironmongers and fireplace merchant serving the rural farmers, they have expanded into the leading independent houseware store in the area. Our departments now include Cookshop, Moorcroft, Poole and Royal Crown Derby, Hartman Garden Furniture, Weber BBQs, Denby Pottery, and DIY, Dorma, Sanderson, Bedeck and Sheridan Bedlinen and Christy Towels, Giftware and Luggage and Handbags. In 2002 a café wine bar was added to the store and in 2004 they started trading on the internet. The store has been located at 54-56 King St, Clitheroe for over 30 years and are a member of AIS ( Associated Independent Stores) the largest independent group of non food retailers in the country. It is through this backing that they are able to offer extremely competitive prices with the knowledge that should you need after sales service then they can be contacted either on the internet or on the phone. Dawsons aim to be competitive on our internet sales and will try to match any price that is found on other sites.

Please note *both the store and Maxwells cafe wine bar are both wheelchair accessible*

Dawsons kindly donated all the wall and floor paint and the paint rollers and brushes when Ribble Valley Shopmobility first opened on Clitheroe market
